Cancellation Policy

At Kona’s Loving Paws, we understand how emotionally challenging it can be to make decisions about your pet’s final moments. We strive to be as flexible and understanding as possible.  Due to the personalized nature of our mobile service and the extended doctor time reserved for each patient, we have policies in place to ensure that we can continue to offer the best care to families in need.

Cancellations 24 hours or more before your appointment:

We kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. A full refund will be provided, minus any processing fees that apply to CC or Venmo transactions. 

Cancellations within 24 hours, up to 3 hours before your appointment:

A cancellation fee of $100 will apply, along with any processing fees applied to CC and Venmo transactions only, to support our team’s time and travel commitment.

Cancellations within 3 hours of the appointment:

We understand that situations can change quickly, however, in these cases, the full cost of the home visit  fee will be collected, as our time has already been reserved exclusively for your family. Any additional services (such as cremation or memorial keepsakes) will be refunded.

If the euthanasia does not proceed upon the doctor’s arrival:

Should you decide not to proceed with the end of life care after our doctor has arrived, a consultation fee of $450 will apply. Any additional services such as cremation will be refunded if not used( minus any processing fees).

*Please note that we are unable to refund any processing fees once a transaction has been completed.  This includes Credit card and Venmo processing fees.
