Dr. Simona Rikh
I grew up in Cincinnati and came to Columbus to attend The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine, and earned my doctorate in 2008. My love for my older patients stems from my beloved dog Kona. She became what I call "old" at a young age when a herniated disc left her debilitated and with a variety of special needs. We had an incredible bond and I loved taking care of my old lady and ensuring that she had the best quality of life she could. When it was time to say goodbye to her, I was able to do so in the comfort of our home. It was one of the hardest days of my life but also the best way I could have said goodbye to my special girl. I am forever thankful to a close friend who is also a veterinarian that was able to provide this final gift to us. My goal is to be your partner and guide during your beloved pets end of life journey.
Dr. Rikh has received additional training and certification through the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy (C.A.E.T.A.) in order to be able to best serve you and your beloved furry family member.
When I am not working, I can be found spending time with my family and friends, playing tennis, cooking, crafting, or enjoying the outdoors.
I look forward to serving you and your beloved furry family member.
