Caroline

I adopted my Sweet Caroline from Franklin County Dog Shelter in 2014. She was 9 months old, and had been picked up as a stray. From the minute I brought her home, she was my best friend. For the past 10+ years, she was my whole heart.

Caroline had been my constant companion, reason for getting out of bed, source of comfort, unconditional love, happiness and joy. We got her cancer diagnosis at the beginning of September this year, and by the end of the month she was tired of fighting, and I realized it was already time to help her pass peacefully and comfortably.

Dr Rikh is absolutely incredible, she’s kind, caring, and so gentle and loving through the entire process. Because of Kona’s Loving Paws, my sweet girl left this earth held in my arms, peacefully and pain free. I cannot thank Dr Rikh enough for the service she provides and the excellent care she takes of her patients. Caroline was back home the next day, where we will keep her spirit alive in our hearts and memories.
