Alex

Alex AKA “bug” or “bugs” (short for love bug), came into our lives when he was 6 weeks old. When I went to the breeder he was the first one they handed me. He put his paws on my face and gave me kisses and it was over with… he was mine and I was his. Alex was loved beyond explanation. He was so sweet and caring, funny and sassy. He brought so much joy into the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was almost human in the way he acted and interacted with us and had the BIGGEST personality. He always had his stuffed animal (his baby as we called it) with him everywhere he went, it brought him comfort and brought others joy when they saw him walk into a room with it. He was a once in a lifetime companion and we are so lucky to have been chosen by him and beyond blessed that we got 10 1/2 years with him. He will be missed dearly, but we know he is in a better place now resting peacefully with his recently passed brother who was also nothing short of amazing. I’m extremely grateful for the care and attention that went into Alex’s final step in life. Dr. Rikh was patient and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye to our beloved boy. She truly cared about us and Alex and turned one of the most difficult moments of our life into a good memory knowing that he went out of this world surrounded by love and peace.
