Jerica
Fly High, Jerica. You were the best thing that could ever have happened to me.
Words are not enough. You were my first dog, and I remember how my mom made me take a holier-than-thou vow to do right by you, to train you, compete with you, and put everything else aside to take care of you. You were my birthday and Christmas present for two consecutive years, and honestly, the best gift a 10-year-old girl could ever receive. You became my world. You were the axis to which my life revolved. You were my icebreaker in school. You were my extracurricular. You became my service dog without even realizing it. You got me through university. You saved my life. You were my everything and so much more.
You have left behind a legacy I can only hope to honor. Thank you for everything.
