Izzy

I decided I needed a Wheaten Terrier after the sudden loss of my Airedale. My mom had a Wheaten in her old age and I loved the loyalty of that spunky little dog.

Izzy came to me as a rescue who needed to be rehomed. She was living with her litter mate in a family with small children and the situation wasn’t working for anyone.

So Izzy moved into my child-free home and brought her attitude along too. What a personality! The last week of her life she was still bossing around my friend’s huge Burnese Mountain Dog.

She was my girl, my best fellow traveler, and the best uncomplaining companion. She made it to 14 years, 8 months. I wanted it to be much longer. Good-bye my sweet little girl, I will miss you always.
