Cody

First I want to thank you again for making Cody’s passing so peaceful. Even though this was the hardest thing I ever had to do,

your calming demeanor and words made it so much easier for me. Even the smallest details were much appreciated, from the Hershey kisses to the lit candle. Everything you did had meaning to me. You gave us time for every step in the process and it was much appreciated.

How do I tell Cody’s story in a short paragraph when he gave me almost 17yrs of joy. As a young pup, he much enjoyed going to the doggie swims every year. Chasing deer’s and geese was his hobby. Where I used to live we had a big front and back yard and every night about 10-15 deers came to eat the grass. When I let him out to go potty and he saw any of them, he would take off chasing them. It was funny to see his ears flopping while running full speed and the deers running away scared of him. Another thing he loved to do was driving in the car. He used to hang out his front paws and head ( that’s why I got him the doggles in the picture) and enjoyed the wind in his face. Wherever dogs were allowed he came with me. He was VERY treat motivated and boy could he eat. My friend nicknamed him HOOVER cause he would suck up every crumb on the floor if he found one. Cody truly enjoyed taking him to new places for sniffs. Sometimes we just randomly hopped in the car to see where we going to end up and then just parked the car and walked around a new place. He brought a lot of joy to alot of people and he will be truly missed. This house will never be the same without him and I hope and pray that one day the tears can stop flowing because they have not stopped since he left.

You have my permission to post on your website as you see fit.

Thank you again for all you did!
