Fezzwig
Fezziwig was a very affectionate dog, and smart to boot. He knew how to butter you up for a treat. If he thought his brother, Gunnar, was getting too much attention – Fezzy would bark at a window in a different room to lure his brother away then collect the pets. Gunnar, his brother, was his playmate and best friend until the end.
Fezzy enjoyed playing fetch with Mr. Bill plushies that shouted “Oh Nooo!” He liked exploring the yard with Gunnar and barking at everything they found. Especially the birds and airplanes. After exploring he liked sitting on the porch with his humans. Fezzy would follow you wherever you went in the house, always hoping for extra head-scratchies or belly-rubs.
Fezz was diagnosed with Lymphoma in June of 2025. Life slowed down to a stop quickly, but he was in good spirits the entire time. Always looking for more pets. Always hoping for extra treats. And he got them. Fezzy was very fortunate to pass in his favorite place, doing his favorite thing – On the back porch enjoying special treats and company. I can’t think of a better way for his final moments to have been spent.
