Keeva

When my husband Ben’s cancer returned in 2013 after being in remission for 10 years I decided to search for a companion for him. I set my sights on finding a Samoyed puppy. Ben had had a Samoyed years ago so I knew that was the right choice. We contacted a local breeder Snowbright Samoyeds and found the perfect puppy. She brought so much joy into our lives. We lost Ben in 2020 so when stupid cancer came for Keeva we knew we had to say goodbye to her as well but that Ben was waiting for her on the other side. He used to lay on the floor and Keevawould jump back and forth over him to get whatever toy was in his hand. The kids and I believe that’s probably what they are doing right now. Thank you to Kona’s Loving Paws and Dr. Dawn for making her final moments with us peaceful and dignified. I would recommend Kona’s to anyone who has to say goodbye to a family pet.
