Nessie

Nessie was a beloved member of our family for 13.5 years. My husband and I adopted her just a few months after we got married. She was a sweet and sassy lady. We will never forget her many adventures, from the time she almost caught a flying squirrel to the time she jumped out a second-story window and got locked on the porch. When our daughter was born four years ago, Nessie was almost fully vision and hearing impaired. She nonetheless embraced the baby as a new family member. Nessie appointed herself as tummy-time supervisor, and the two developed a loving bond. We are so grateful for the assistance of Kona’s Loving Paws with Nessie’s end-of-life care. She passed peacefully over the rainbow bridge on 1/4/23, and she will live on forever in our hearts.
