We adopted Stella from a Labrador Retriever rescue in northeast Ohio in 2012. We had only been married for 3 months so she was with us from the beginning. She loved walks and playing fetch but there was nothing she loved more than her 2 kids. We’re pretty sure she thought she was their actual mom! As she got older we would find her cuddled on the couch with our son, listening to him as he learned to read. Or laying on the floor with our daughter as she learned to roll over. She was truly loved and we appreciate Dr. Bowers care in helping her pass peacefully.
