Sylvester

Sylvester was a cat like no other.  He was equal parts curious, social, and loving.

He welcomed both our kids into our home.  His span of duties included helping us with late night feedings when the kids were little, photobombing pictures, putting the kids to bed, and making sure a faucet was always on that he could drink from.

We will miss his snuggles, his boundless energy, his unrelenting need for treats, him wanting us to watch him eat, wanting to be pet, tummy rubs, laying on feet, playing catch, and early morning wake up calls.

Heaven gained not a good one, but the best one. We hope he is up there snuggling with his brother, Mickey, who was also just as loving and amazing.

Thomas also wanted to share:
“Vessie was the best cat I could have ever had. When I was sad he cuddled me. When I was frustrated he helped me. He loved treats and always made me smile—whether he was waking up my parents or trying to eat off my plate. I cannot think of a time that he did not bring me joy. Vessie was always there for me until the very end. Though his death was an overwhelming tragedy, every day with him was worth it.”
