Woody

We were blessed to receive Woody from my husband’s co-worker when the 2 labs he was living with decided to outcast him. They would push him down stairs and eat all the food and basically bully him. So his owners decided it would be best if he was re-homed. He was a year and 1/2 old and had already been to a trainer when we got him. We hit the jackpot!! However, he did come with some anxiety, a few fears but was so ready to be loved on. He needed to be the alpha. He quickly fit in like he had always lived here. Everyone who met him loved him- no matter the age. He let all the kids climb on him and play with him and he was always there to greet you. He was often referred to as having such a gentle soul and that he kinda looked like an “old man.” He was so therapeutic. He never barked unless there was a real problem. He loved peanut butter and any table food you would give him. He loved to be brushed and spoiled and never ever complained about getting his toe nails trimmed. He loved to take walks and in his younger years he liked to run around the yard really, really fast. In September Woody would have turned 12. He truly was the best dog ever.
